This excellent, two hour course is designed for the absolute beginner. You will learn about the proper assembly and use of climbing equipment, basic belay technique, and climbing knots. After the course you are encouraged to stay, climb, and cement your newly-acquired skills! In fact, you can climb free during the week following the course! Please note that equipment rentals are not covered in the free week.

The cost is $59.00 + tax per participant and includes shoe rental, harness rental, and one experienced Cliffhanger instructor for every 4 climbers. Intro Courses are perfect for people without experience who are interested in learning how to climb indoors!

Intro Courses must be booked in advance! 

Intro Courses are offered at the following times:

Monday - 6:00 pm

Wednesday - 7:00 pm

Thursday - 6:30 pm

Sunday - 10:00 am 

The minimum group size is 2, while the minimum age for the Intro Course is 14 years old. Groups of 4 or more may book outside of the regularly scheduled times; please call to inquire. Groups of 8 or more are eligible for a group rate.
